Minor Planets and Related Objects. VI. Asteroid (110) Lydia

Lydia was observed in 1958-59 at the McDonald Observatory and in 1969 at the Kitt Peak National Observatory. The lightcurve has three maxima and minima, and it shows that Lydia has an irregular shape. The synodic period is .24+O.04 (p.e.). The absolute magnitude is B (1,0) = 8.80, and the colors at zero phase angle are B - V +0.71 and U-B = +0.29. The opposition effect and reddening with phase are clearly evident. A striking similarity was found among the opposition effects of Vesta, Massalia, and Lydia.
