Minor planets. IL Photographic magnitudes

Fifteen hundred magnitude determinations, supplied by the Goethe Link Observatory of Indiana Uni- versity, are combined with the values listed in Trans. IA U 10, 305,1958. The method of combination is described, as are the photometric system and the definition of absolute magnitude. The present asteroid maguitudes are on the International Photographic system, the transformation to the UB V system is given, and the precision is +0.09 mag (p.e.). The complete listing of absolute maguitude, mean opposition magni- tude, and relative weight, for nearly 1700 minor planets is in the Trans. IA U 1967.
