Assessing the resilience of stormwater ponds under climate change: A case study on Grace Lake, Florida, unveiling flood control and water quality implications
Abstract
Fully coupled surface water groundwater integrated model is an effective tool to assess the Resilience of Stormwater Ponds under Climate Change. Climate change declines soil storage and increases water table and consequently affects the reliability of stormwater ponds. The potential failure of stormwater ponds not only induces flooding concerns in residential areas but also jeopardizes the water quality of downstream wetlands.
