VizieR Online Data Catalog: Sun-like stars abundances (Spina+, 2021)
Abstract
The data set employed in this study is formed by 107 binary pairs of Sun-like stars. More specifically, these pairs have <Teff> ranging between 4977K and 6450K and their <logg> are between 3.9dex and 4.8dex. Note that our sample includes only pairs with <Teff><6500K, because warmer stars have thick radiative envelopes3 and thus are not suitable for our study. We also impose that the differences between the two stellar Teff and logg within each pair are smaller than 600K and 0.6dex, respectively. This guarantees that each pair is formed by stars with similar atmospheres, which reduces the impact of unknown systematics in the determination of {DELTA}Fe values and other abundances. We also verify that our scientific results hold if we decrease the thresholds on the differential Teff and log g to 400K and 0.4dex, respectively.
Atmospheric parameters and abundances of stars in 31 binary systems are derived in this work from High Accuracy Radial velocity Planet Searcher (HARPS) spectra. (4 data files).- Publication:
