VizieR Online Data Catalog: Dynamical state for 964 galaxy clusters (Yuan+, 2020)
Abstract
We collect the observation information for clusters of galaxies archived by the Chandra in two approaches.
First, we get the information for all observations which categorized as 'Clusters of galaxies' in the Chandra archival database (http://cda.harvard.edu/chaser/). As a result, more than 2000 observations are obtained, often several observations are made for one cluster. For clusters observed more than one time, we generally choose the observation with largest photon number. However, we select the observation for nearby clusters (mostly with z<0.05) not only with a sufficient photon number but also with a good coverage of CCDs. After removing reduplicate observations, we obtained data for 915 clusters. Secondly, we cross-match several widely used cluster catalogues: the Abell (Abell, Corwin & Olowin 1989ApJS...70....1A, Cat. VII/110A), MCXC (Piffaretti et al. 2011A&A...534A.109P, Cat. J/A+A/534/A109), redMaPPer (Rykoff et al. 2014ApJ...785..104R, Cat. J/ApJ/785/104), CAMIRA (Oguri 2014MNRAS.444..147O, Cat. J/MNRAS/444/147), WH15 (Wen, Han & Liu 2012ApJS..199...34W, Cat. J/ApJS/199/34; Wen & Han 2015MNRAS.448....2W), and WHY18 (Wen, Han & Yang 2018MNRAS.475..343W, Cat. J/MNRAS/475/343), with archived Chandra observations to find serendipitous observed clusters. In total, we have a sample of 964 galaxy clusters with good Chandra X-ray image data (see Table 1). (2 data files).- Publication:
