VizieR Online Data Catalog: VPNEP. I. Initial data release (Strassmeier+, 2023)

High-resolution spectra have been obtained of 1067 bright TESS stars around the Northen Ecliptic Pole (NEP). In this first paper, we present the results for the pilot stars. High-resolution spectra (R=200000) for the dwarf stars in the sample were obtained using the PEPSI spectrograph together with the VATT telescope. The SES spectrograph and STELLA-II telescope were used to obtain the high-resolution spectra (R=55000) for the giant stars. A linelist was specially composed in order to calculate the equivalent widths and chemical abundances of these stars. The VALD database was used in conjuction with the NIST database and the Gaia-ESO line list in order to select reliable spectral lines.
