A new species of Prosolierius rove beetle with highly modified antennae from mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber of northern Myanmar (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Solieriinae)

A new species of Prosolierius is described from mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber. Prosolierius thayerae sp. nov. has modifications on their antennomeres 3 and 4. This new finding further sheds light on the hidden diversity of the extinct Solieriinae.
