Improving Multi-Dimensional Data Formats, Access, and Assimilation Tools for the Twenty-First Century
Abstract
We discuss the need for new strategies for data products and data assimilation techniques to support complex contemporary observations. We present a case study that highlights this need, and make recommendations including investments in approaches for data assimilation and multi-observations products and developing new data use paradigms and modernized data formats.
