Prediction of combustion, performance and emission of 1-decanol in CRDi diesel engine under influence of WLDPE/diesel which is compared using statistical method
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the fuel that will provide the best combustion, performance, and emission characteristics for WLDPE Diesel. The Components and the Processes In a generator set engine equipped with an eddy current dynamometer and operating with the default settings, diesel is combined with decanol in proportions of 10%, 20%, and 30%. The trial's predictions indicated that the HRR would be 5 J/deg, the PR-CY would be 80.233125 bar, the amount of BTE would be 28.77 J/deg, the amount of BSFC would be 0.3 g/kW.hr, the NOx would be 2447 ppm, and the smoke opacity would be 38.2% less than that of Diesel. All of these predictions were based on the results of the trial. p=0.048 indicates that there is a statistically significant difference between the groups that are being considered (p0.05). When compared to Diesel, the PR-CY, HRR, BSFC, NOx, and Smoke opacity were all lower throughout the scope of the experiment, with corresponding values of 0.6%, 1.5%, 4.9%, 0.1%, and 6.2%.
