VizieR Online Data Catalog: LEGA-C DR3: high-quality sp. of 0.6<z<1 gal. (van der Wel+, 2021)

The final survey footprint is created by 30 slightly overlapping pointings, together covering 1.4255 square degrees (Figure 2), giving a total survey comoving volume of 3.664x10⁶Mpc³ between z=0.6 and z=1.0, equivalent to the local volume out to ~100Mpc (z~0.023).

With 2 additional pointings, the 32 masks produced 4081 galaxy spectra, with 3741 unique objects (340 are observed more than once) observed with the Visible Multi-Object Spectrograph (VIMOS) on the Very Large Telescope at Paranal in Chile.

Observations were carried out between 2014 December and 2018 March. In total, 211 (mostly partial) nights were spent observing in Visitor Mode, for a total on-source integration time of 695hr out of the allocated 1107hr.
