An Improved Optical Biosensor design using defect/metal multilayer photonic crystal for Malaria Diagnosis
Abstract
Introduction of metal layer with defect layer to improve sensitivity of optical biosensor. Effect of thickness of metal layer has been investigated for sensor application. Angular dependence has been studied for both TE and TM modes. Improved device is proposed based on metal/defect/metal structure for malaria detection.
