How social capital influences community resilience management development

The research on "resilience" in the field of urban disaster prevention has gradually changed from macro resilience strategies to construction of concrete resilience models. The community resilience has become an important link in implementing urban resilience capabilities. This work takes "social capital" as a breakthrough in the construction of a community resilience management model. Based on field surveys of typical communities in Tianjin, China, the work quantitatively analyses the relationship between resilience, social capital, and active participation in the community.
