High Density Disc Reflection Spectroscopy
Abstract
We will present recent results of the high density disc reflection spectroscopy. A high disc density parameter in the relativistic reflection model might be the solution to the high-temperature thermal emission commonly seen in the hard state of X-ray binaries, the soft excess emission in Seyfert AGN, and the super-solar iron abundances inferred by previous reflection-based X-ray analyses. During this presentation, I will focus on how a high density reflection model works, how the density parameter changes in different accretion states of a black hole transient in outburst, and how this model can build a bridge between supermassive black holes in AGN and stellar-mass BHs in X-ray binaries observationally.
