Perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) exposure of bovine oocytes affects early embryonic development at human-relevant levels in an in vitro model
Abstract
Human relevant levels of PFOS alter early embryo development in vitro. PFOS alter lipid distribution in blastocysts upon exposure during oocyte maturation. PFOS delay embryo development in a bovine model in vitro. Gene expression pathways altered after exposure were corroborated by epigenetic data.
