Investigating the Role of Amazonian Mesoscale Wind Patterns on the Spatial Distribution of Martian Bedrock Exposures
Abstract
We used regional thermal data from Thermal Emission Spectrometer (TES) and compared it to Mars Regional Atmospheric Modeling System (MRAMS) numerical wind data to understand if wind patterns are a possible mechanism for bedrock exposure on Mars.
