Late-Stage Oxidation of Yamato 980459 Shergottite: Evidence from Chromite + Silica Trails in Olivine
Abstract
Our microstructural and microchemical study of chromite + silica trails in Yamato 980459 shergottite olivine suggests a late-stage oxidation event during the magma ascent.
