Spatial characterization of ns-laser induced Tungsten plasma in air using laser induced breakdown spectroscopy
Abstract
Spatial evolution laser induced tungsten plasma in air. Separation between ions and atoms along the axis of plasma expansion. Plasma emission intensity, plasma parameters obtain highest value at core of the LIP. Mc-Whirter criteria and diffusion length of plasma confirm the validity in LTE. Optimum spatial window is obtained.
