The impact of auditory continual feedback on take-overs in Level 3 automated vehicles
Abstract
Speech-based continual feedback increased drivers' on-road glances. Despite this increase, drivers' take-over performance was not improved. The increase in on-road glances diminished over time. In automated vehicles, gaze behavior might not necessarily indicate attention.
