A Transiting Outer Giant Exoplanet Poised for Comparative Planetology with Jupiter and Saturn
Abstract
We present Spitzer observations of a transit of Kepler-167e, a Jupiter-analog exoplanet with a 2.9-yr orbital period. We refine the ephemeris of this rare outer transiting planet to enable future unprecedented comparative investigations with Jupiter.
