XZ 103822 - A New Double Star Detected by Lunar Occultation
Abstract
The author recorded a number of lunar occultations on the night of 2019 April 12, one of which, 10.3 V-mag XZ 103822, did not have an instantaneous disappearance. Analysis of its light curve shows it is a previously unreported double star with components of 10.7 mag and 11.5 mag, and a separation of ~0.2" at the time of observation.
