VizieR Online Data Catalog: Galactic HI supershells kinetic energies (Suad+, 2019)
Abstract
Tables 3 and 4 contain the parameters of GS belonging to Groups A and B, respectively. Names of the structures (Col. 1) are created from galactic coordinates and the radial velocity of their centres. The asterisk at the end of some of the structures (Table 4) indicates that this structure is a galactic chimney candidate. Columns 2-3 describe the galactic longitude and latitude of the center of the fitted ellipse. The uncertainty in the values estimated for the centroid of the ellipses is about ±0.2°. Column 4 the systemic radial velocity. The uncertainty of this velocity is equal to the velocity resolution of the data (1.3km/s). In col. 5 is given the heliocentric distance. In Col. 6 is listed the effective radius of the structures. The uncertainties in these values come from the uncertainties in the distances and angular semi-axes, and are around 16%. In Col. 7 are the expansion velocities. In Col. 8 are listed the GS HI masses and in Col. 9 the GS kinetic energies. The uncertainties in the masses end energies are about 50% and 64%, respectively.
