Thermal comfort investigation of stratified indoor environment in displacement ventilation: Climate-adaptive building with smart windows
Abstract
Integration of solar power sources into a room is studied numerically. The case studies include a heat source, regular and smart windows. The temperature stratification and age of air of the indoor environment are monitored. Thermal comfort analysis for different configurations is performed. The results are validated with published numerical and experimental works.
