Optimizing the spacing of Ag nanoparticle layers to enhance the performance of ZnO/Ag/ZnO/Ag/ZnO multilayer-structured UV photodetectors
Abstract
Two Ag nanoparticle layers were embedded in the ZnO film as forming the ZnO/Ag/ZnO/Ag/ZnO multilayer structure. With decreased spacing between two Ag nanoparticle layers, UV photodetector responsivity was gradually enhanced. The absorption band-edges of ZAZAZ multilayer-structured PDs showed a redshift in comparition with the bare ZnO film.
