Application of technology in learning the religion of Hindu as an educational efforts to improve the creativity of students
Abstract
The transformation to the future is too fast. It also affects the culture today as adults are known as the era of globalization, where science and technology have developed rapidly. Education is a more attractive formation of behavior achieved through the application of reinforced conditions, through technological equipment. Technology is considered a tool or means that can be used for destruction. Technology is very helpful in packaging the process of education or teaching and learning process becomes more innovative and able to attract attention and grow students learning motivation. The development of technology that is the result of human thinking is very helpful for educators in delivering teaching materials by using some tools which are the results of technology development like a laptop, LCD, Projector and so on. With technology, there are also some very interesting learning media that can increase students’ learning passion. In conveying the material a teacher is also able to display some short films that are educative by using technology in the classroom, so in this era of globalization, educators are not monotonous in doing teaching and learning activities. Likewise, with Hinduism Education subjects, a teacher is required to be proficient in utilizing and managing the technology that has been provided as a support for the learning process. The usual method used by teachers of Hinduism is more dominant using lecture method, with the existence of technological aids of a teacher of Hinduism feels simplified in delivering learning materials without reducing the intent and meaning to be conveyed. So from that technological progress in this era of globalization, especially in the world of education, is able to explore the creativity of an educator and creativity of learners in order to create a conducive atmosphere in the learning process.
