The Influence of Atmospheric Dust on the Atmosphere and Ionosphere of Mars as seen by the Radio Science Experiment MaRs on Mars Express
Abstract
Radio Waves are not sensitive to dust and can sense regions of the Martian atmosphere which are inaccessible for other measurement techniques. Radio occultations can therefore be used (in combination with independent information about the dust content) to study the influence on dust on the thermal atmospheric structure.
