Unique Probes of Reionization with the CMB: From the First Stars to Fundamental Physics
Abstract
Much of reionization remains hidden from view, and along with it our understanding of how stars, black holes, and galaxies first emerged. We outline the discoveries enabled by the CMB and highlight the most difficult challenges, including planning and coordination, frequency coverage, angular resolution, and sensitivity.
