Distribution systems data compression based on SVD method
Abstract
This paper proposes a data compression method of power distribution systems based on singular value decomposition (SVD). Firstly, the distribution systems data is put into the data matrix for subsequent compression. Then, the data compression method of distribution systems based on singular value decomposition is proposed. This method can compress the distribution systems data and save the storage space. In order to measure the compression effect of this method, this paper presents four measurement indexes. Finally, the real data collected are used for experimental verification. The results show that the proposed method can effectively reduce the data volume of distribution systems and is superior to the principal component analysis (PCA) method.
