VizieR Online Data Catalog: APOGEE-2 survey of Orion Complex (OSFC). I. (Cottle+, 2018)
Abstract
Observations for the APOGEE-2 Young Cluster Survey are collected with the APOGEE-2 northern spectrograph (APOGEE-2N) on the 2.5m SDSS telescope at the Apache Point Observatory.
The Orion Star-forming Complex (OSFC) is the largest region targeted in the APOGEE-2 Young Cluster Survey. The complete 16 field plan for the APOGEE-2 Orion Survey is shown schematically in Figure 1. The first APOGEE-2 observations in Orion were conducted in 2016 January and February. Additional observations, comprising the bulk of the planned surveys for the λ Ori, Orion B, and Orion OB1ab fields, were completed during the 2016-2017 observing season. We list the Julian dates of all observations acquired for APOGEE-2 Orion fields through the summer of 2017 in Table 1. (3 data files).- Publication:
