Structure, thermal transitions and polymer dynamics in nanocomposites based on poly(ɛ-caprolactone) and nano-inclusions of 1-3D geometry
Abstract
Good dispersion of nano-fillers (SiO2, GO, CNT, Ag) in the PCL matrix. Tc increases in the filler order SiO2 < Ag < CNT < GO (nucleation efficiency). Correlation of nucleation efficiency with aspect ratio of initial filler particles. Changes in Tg and RAF correlate better with those of crystalline fraction, CF. No direct effects of filler on glass transition (DSC)/segmental dynamics (DRS).
