Synthesis of ceramic ultrafiltration membrane and application in membrane bioreactor process for pesticide remediation from wastewater
Abstract
High flux UF membrane from green synthesized iron oxide nanoparticles. Defect free membrane layer formation with avg. pore diameter of 3nm. Process efficiency of developed UF membrane in MBR process for atrazine removal. 91.5–96% removal of atrazine from various simulated wastewater samples. TReduction of toxic activity of UF-MBR treated water upon snails.
