Surface Ages of the South Polar Layered Deposits, Mars
Abstract
We present surface age results from two areas on Promethei Lingula, a region of the south polar deposit, based on crater counts. We find that, depending on the crater production function used, the surface exposure age could be as young as 200 kyr.
