Drag coefficient of consolidated system of solid spherical particles
Abstract
In this paper, the results of experimental study of the process of gravitational settling of consolidated system of solid spherical particles in a viscous liquid in the Reynolds number range Re = 10-3 ÷ 1 are presented. On the basis of experimental data the empirical dependences for the drag coefficient of group of solid spherical particles as function of the settling regime of the particle cloud are obtained.
