In vivo radionuclide assessment of morpho-functional lacrimal gland
Abstract
Radionuclide diagnostics is a promising method for assessing the kinetics of internal and external blood supply reservoirs of a visual analyzer system. The capabilities of assessing hemodynamic parameters of the retrobulbar space of the eye artery are discussed for the secretory excretory function of the lacrimal gland monitoring. The aim of this research is analysis of the morpho-functional topography of the lacrimal glands, taking into account parameters of radiopharmaceutical kinetics in the circulatory system and tissue structures of lacrimal glands. Comparison of the results of radiation clinical and experimental methods for studying the lacrimal gland pathology the tissue, ultrastructural and molecular-biochemical levels obtained at the present stage with the possibilities of radionuclide diagnostics in vivo has been fulfiled. A variant of optimization of the possibilities of radiation diagnostic methods for visualization of the development of pathological processes in the lacrimal glands has been proposed by conjugation of the morphological topography with the parameters of the kinetics of radioactive pharmaceutical preparations in the circulation basins and tissue exchange systems.
