Type I solar radio bursts observed with PL612 LOFAR station in Baldy
Abstract
We present a few examples of the type I solar radio bursts observed with LOFAR (LOw-Frequency Array) station in Baldy, located in north-east Poland. This station was used in the single mode and recorded the solar dynamic spectra in the frequency range from 10 up to 240 MHz (wavelengths of 30-1.2 m). We are sure that observations obtained with the LOFAR telescope, which is relatively new instrument ttext"> of the mechanism responsible for generation of the type I bursts.
