High Flux and Multiple Peak Terrestrial Gamma-Ray Flashes Detected by Atmosphere-Space Interaction Monitor
Abstract
Atmosphere-Space Interaction Monitor (ASIM) was launched on April 2, 2018, connected to the International Space Station (ISS) and successfully passed the commissioning phase. The Modular X- and Gamma-ray Sensor (MXGS) capable to image and perform spectral analysis of terrestrial gamma-ray flashes (TGFs) has started TGF detection from the ISS orbit.
In this contribution we report the first high flux and multiple peak TGFs detected by ASIM.- Publication:
