Chemical Evolution Models of the Galaxy
Abstract
We present three chemical evolution models of our galaxy to fit the O/H ratios derived from H II regions, one is based on data obtained from the direct method and the other on data obtained from the temperature independent method. We find that the model based on the temperature independent method produces a better O/H fit than the direct method for: a) the solar abundance, b) the B stellar abundances and c) the cepheid abundances.
