Determinación espectroscópica de enrojecimientos y edades de cúmulos abiertos de pequeño diámetro angular
Abstract
As part of a systematic project of integrated spectroscopic observations of small angular size Galactic open clusters (OCs), we present preliminary results (basically reddenings and ages) obtained for four OCs located in the third and fourth Galactic quadrants (ESO206-SC06, Ruprecht75, Sher1 and NGC3590). The spectra were obtained at Complejo Astronomico El Leoncito (CASLEO, Argentina) using the ``Jorge Sahade'' 2.15 m telescope. Together with other spectra previously obtained at CASLEO using the same instrument and applying the same technique, the present spectra will be used to improve the current available spectral template libraries of typically solar metallicity. The present results suggest that ESO260-SC06, aged about (2.5 1.0) Gyr, is probably much older than previously believed. On the other hand, integrated spectroscopy applied to Ruprecht75, Sher1 and NGC3590 leads to cluster ages consistent with those derived from optical and near-infrared photometric studies, but it yields slightly smaller reddening values.
