A New Data Archive for Gemini - Fast, Cheap and in the Cloud

We have implemented a data archive for the Gemini Observatory, with an emphasis on low cost and speed - with most archive searches completing in less than a second and with new data becoming available in the archive typically within a minute of the observation completing. The archive is deployed on Amazon Web Services. The system provides a simple but powerful RESTful user interface allowing several innovative and powerful features.
