The Twannberg (IIG) Iron Strewn Field, Switzerland: Status of Exploration and Relation with Quaternary Deposits
Abstract
The Twannberg IIG iron in Switzerland has evolved to a strewn field. Meteorites appear transported in two find complexes while the third and largest represents a preserved section of the original strewn field. The fall pre-dates the last ice age.
