Evolution and Stability of the Residual CO2 Ice Cap
Abstract
The residual cap stabilizes a large buried CO2 reservoir; so its erosion calls into question Mars' climatic stability. We link observations of the surface and atmosphere with landscape evolution models to show the cap waxes and wanes over ~100yrs.
