NuSTAR Status and Plans
Abstract
NuSTAR, a Small Explorer mission, the first sensitive imaging telescope operating in the high energy X-ray band, has just completed its baseline mission. This talk will describe the mission performance and present science highlights form the two-year primary mission. NASA has recently approved a two-year mission extension that will include a continuation of legacy survey programs as well as a guest investigator (G0) program. I will present plans for the GO program implementation as well as an outline of the survey programs. Significant time will be allotted for discussion and question and answer about the structure of the extended mission
