a Novel Concept for All-Solid Lithium-Sulfur Battery Using Rtil - Li-SALT Quasi-Solidified Electrolytes
Abstract
A novel concept of all-solid-state lithium - sulfur battery using a quasi-solid-state electrolyte consisting of DEME-TFSA - Li-TFSA - fumed silica nanoparticles, have been developed and the battery performance have been evaluated in this study. As a result, we succeeded to develop the all-solid-state lithium - sulfur cell showing high discharge capacity such as 1370 mAh g-1, corresponding to 82% of sulfur utilization ratio, in the initial discharge capacities at 308 K with 0.05 C via the conversion reaction of sulfur and lithium.
