Statistical Properties of AGN Narrow-Line Seyfert 1 and their Host Galaxies
Abstract
The usual definition of Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) involves an appreciable release of energy that cannot be explained by stellar process. Here we analize the non-stellar continuum and host galaxy properties of about 130 nearby (z≤0.1) AGN of the type Narrow Line Seyfert 1, which are supposed to be at the lower end of black hole masses and at the same time at the highest accretion rates regimes. Our results include determinations of black hole masses, accretion rates, kinematic and state of the ionized gas.
