Clusters of galaxies in the Chandra and XMM - Newton Era
Abstract
We present new results in the study of clusters of galaxies obtained with modern X-ray satellites like XMM-Newton and Chandra. Over the last ten years, both telescopes have studied these objects in detail and made many new insights into the involved physical processes possible. We present some highlights of the last ten years, like the measurement of the Hubble parameter, a probably detection of warm-hot matter in the filament between two clusters, new constraints on the nature of dark matter and some others. This choice is of course a personal "hit list" of the author, but hopefully contains an interesting overview of recent cluster research.
