Geochemical Evidence for Denitrification in a Yellowstone National Park Hot Spring
Abstract
Nitrogen is a key nutrient for all known forms of life but little is known about the specific N metabolisms present in high-temperatue systems. We present results from the first direct measurements of denitrification in Yellowstone hot springs.
