EECP Induced Instant Shear Stress Variation-Experiment and Math Modeling
Abstract
To study how the enhanced external counter pulsation (EECP) performance influences the arterial hemodynamic factors, and then evaluate its anti-atherogenesis effect, a kind of long-term EECP animal experiment was designed in vivo. Some basic hemodynamics factors including blood flow rate and blood pressure are obtained inside the carotids of the experimental animals together with the cardiogram and carotids geometrical data.
