Activation energy and thermoactivation parameters of crystallization in rapidly quenched TiNi-based alloys
Abstract
The thermal effects at the transition of rapidly quenched TiNi-based alloys from the amorphous to crystalline state have been investigated by high-resolution differential scanning calorimetry. The obtained values of enthalpy, entropy, and activation energy of this phase transition suggest that the crystallization begins long before the devitrification temperature is reached.
