The Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR)
Abstract
The Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array (NuSTAR) Small Explorer Mission will be the first highly-sensitive, focusing telescope to image the hard X-ray (6 - 80 keV) sky. NuSTAR's unprecedented combination of sensitivity, angular and spectral resolution allow it to carry out a compelling scientific program in its two year baseline mission. NuSTAR, currently in Phase B development, is scheduled for a launch in 2011. This poster provides an overview of the NuSTAR observatory, scientific observing plan, and performance characteristics.
