Mare Imbrium Subsurface Structure as Revealed by Radar Sounder Data
Abstract
We studied the Kaguya Lunar Radar Sounder (LRS) data for the Kirch crater region in Mare Imbrium. There is evidence for multiple subsurface layers which may be paleoregoliths. Additional vertical features are visible, which may indicate faults.
