Studies of γ → p overlinep production at Belle
Abstract
The production of p overlinep pairs from two-photon collisions has been studied by 89 fb-1 data collected at Belle. The cross sections and the angular differential cross sections for γγ → p overlinep have been measured in the two-photon c.m. energy from 2 to 4 GeV. In comparison with previous measurements, the Belle preliminary results have achieved a great improvement in statistics. The theoretical predictions, including the purequark and diquark models, are compared with the data at medium or higher energies.
